When Lewis founded LG Law, he did so with a recognition that lawyers today must reconcile the manner in which those services are provided with the unique needs of each client. LG Law’s commitment to versatility also relates to the manner in which the firm is paid for its services; many matters are undertaken on a contingency basis, for a flat fee, or in another fashion which more suitably aligns the interests of each client with their attorney.

Lewis received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and his law degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a leader in the American Bar Association, and a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association, and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys. He is also active with the Parkinson’s Foundation of the Heartland Board, a United Way Community Allocations Board Member, and a volunteer for Kansas City Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts.

In 2010 and 2011, Lewis has been selected by his peers as one of the Kansas City Business Journal's "Best of the Bar." Lewis has also been named a SuperLawyers "Rising Star" each year since 2008.


Halo Alliance Program LG Law is a proud supporter of the HALO Foundation, a not-for-profit entity committed to enhancing the living conditions and providing art therapy for orphans worldwide. Orphans supported by HALO are provided food, water, shelter, clothing, education, and art therapy.
