Adam Mahmood, et al. v. Grantham University, Inc.
Together with Donelon, P.C., LG Law filed a collective and class action claim against Grantham University, Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri on June 21, 2010. The lawsuit has been filed on behalf of all Admissions Representatives and other hourly employees for unpaid regular and overtime compensation under state and federal wage and hour laws. The lawsuit alleges that Grantham University required employees to perform work before shifts, after shifts, and at home without compensating them for their time. It also alleges that Grantham University systematically removed overtime hours reported by these employees.

The lawsuit has been filed on behalf of all Garbage Throwers and other salaried laborers for unpaid regular and overtime compensation under federal wage and hour laws. The lawsuit alleges that Town & Country Disposal mischaracterized Garbage Throwers and other salaried laborers as non-exempt, failed to record all hours actually worked by these employees, and failed to compensate these employees for all hours actually worked.

LG Law filed a collective and class action claim against Weber Carpet, Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas on March 8, 2010. The lawsuit has been filed on behalf of all Flooring Installers for unpaid regular and overtime compensation under state and federal wage and hour laws. The lawsuit alleges that Weber Carpet failed to record all hours actually worked by these employees, failed to compensate these employees for all hours actually worked, and made unlawful deductions from these employees’ pay. It also alleges that Weber Carpet systematically removed overtime hours reported by these employees.
